“I won’t bore you with details, but I’ve been around a while. I’ve travelled to over 57 countries as an insurance broker at Lloyd’s or working within the secure logistics industry. I’ve seen first-hand the issues you face in the precious metal mining, refining, secure logistics, manufacturing and retail sectors.

5 Things you may not know about the man in the chair:
- I am a former insurance consultant to the Bank of England.
- I managed the largest precious metals placement in the history of the London insurance market (US$3 billion).
- Sports play a big part in my life, and I have played rugby for London Wasps’ first team and won silver and bronze medals at the National Rowing Championships of Great Britain.
- Cycling is also a passion, and I represented Great Britain at the road cycling UCI Amateur World Championships (I didn’t do very well!).
- I have soft spots for chocolate, elevator pitches, Ted Lasso quotes (‘doing the right thing is never wrong’), my foxy red lab, family, and friends.
